I spend most of my days at the District Court Compound in Raj Nagar. My office is at number 767. It is a busy place, as you can imagine with the court being right there. There is always someone rushing somewhere or waiting for their turn. I have been practicing here for a long time. It’s just me and a small bit of help. The room is filled with books and old documents. People come in looking for advice or help with their cases. It gets noisy outside during the peak hours, but inside we just try to get the work done. I started out right after finishing my studies and just never left. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but the work is what matters. I know most of the other people working in the compound. We see each other at the tea stall or in the hallways. It’s a community of its own. My family sometimes asks why I don't move to a fancier building, but I like being where the action is. It's practical. I take my notes by hand mostly and then type them up later. It is a slow process sometimes, but it works for me. That is basically the whole story of this place. I just keep showing up and doing the job as best as I can.
