Vasant Kunj is a funny place because you have these huge malls and then you have the regular spots where people actually live and work. I’m based out here, and it’s a constant battle with the traffic. My day usually starts with trying to find a place to park the scooter near my entrance. The office isn't very large, but it fits what I need. I have a computer that’s a bit slow and a lot of folders stacked up on the side table. Most of my work involves talking to people and sorting out their requirements. It’s not glamorous. I spend a lot of time on the phone or walking over to meet someone a few blocks away. The heat in Delhi can be brutal, so I have a small cooler that makes a lot of noise but keeps the room bearable. My neighbors are mostly other small business guys or people who have lived in Vasant Kunj for decades. We all complain about the same things, like the water supply or the noise from the main road. I don't have a big team or a fancy marketing plan. I just do the work that comes my way and try to keep things moving. It’s a lot of routine, but I like knowing the people around me. Every day is pretty much the same, and that’s fine by me.
