If you head out to Noida Udyog Kendra in Ecotech 3, you’ll find Chanderveer Singh at 13 A. Being in an industrial area means the surroundings are mostly factories and warehouses. It’s a place of work, plain and simple. There isn't much greenery around here, just a lot of concrete and the sound of machines humming in the background. My unit is tucked away and we focus on getting our specific tasks handled every day. It’s a practical space. We’ve got concrete floors and high ceilings which help a bit with the heat, though not much in the middle of June. I don't have a fancy office upstairs; my desk is right there where everything else is happening. I like being able to see what’s going on without having to get up. The workers around here all know each other, and we often share a bit of news or a laugh during the lunch break. It’s a hardworking environment. We don't spend time on long meetings or polished presentations. We just look at the orders, check the materials, and get to it. The commute to Ecotech 3 can be long depending on the traffic, but once I’m here, I’m focused on the day ahead. It’s an honest living in a tough part of town. We don't make any big promises, we just show up and do the work that’s expected of us at 13 A.
