Brijpal Singh Chauhan

My shop is Shop No 1 in the Ravidass Temple Market, right in the Navyug Market area. My name is Brijpal Singh Chauhan. Being the first shop in the row means I see everything that goes on. It’s a very busy spot, especially on days when there are a lot of people visiting the temple. The morning starts early with the sound of bells and people starting their day. I like being in Navyug Market because it feels like the heart of the town. My shop isn't anything grand, just a simple room with my tools and materials. It’s a bit old-fashioned, maybe, but it works for what I do. I spend a lot of time sitting out front or just inside the doorway, watching the world go by when I’m not busy with a task. People often stop to ask for directions or just to say hello because I’ve been here so long. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, and the shelves are a bit crooked, but it has character. I don't use any big words or try to act like a corporate executive. I’m just a local businessman trying to do right by my customers and keep the shop running smoothly. It’s a good life, being part of this community. If you ever come to the temple, you’ll see my sign right there at the start.
