I've been here at Gool Market in Hapur for quite some time now. Most people know this spot because it's always busy with people coming and going. My name is Brijesh Kumar and I pretty much spend my whole day here from morning until the sun goes down. It’s not a fancy place but it gets the job done. Sometimes the noise from the street gets a bit much but you get used to it after a few years. People usually stop by when they’re already out doing their shopping near the main market area. We don't really have a big sign or anything like that, just a door and some space to work. The tea stall nearby keeps me going most afternoons when things get slow or when there's too much heat outside. I try to keep things organized but in a market like this, it's hard to stay perfectly tidy. You just manage with what you have. If you’re looking for me, just ask anyone around the Gool Market area, they usually know where I sit. It’s just a normal way to earn a living, nothing special or exciting to write home about. I like the routine of opening up early and seeing the same faces walk past every day. Sometimes we chat, sometimes we don't. That's just how life is here in Hapur. It's a simple setup and it works for us.
