Bijendra Singh

Our place is located in Lajpat Nagar III, specifically at J 11. It’s a well-known neighborhood, and being in block J means we’re in a spot that’s a mix of homes and small offices. Bijendra Singh is the name we use. The street outside is usually lined with cars, and it can be a bit of a struggle to find a parking spot if you come late in the day. Our office is on the ground floor, which is convenient. It’s not a very large space, just enough for a couple of desks and some storage for our files. The walls are painted a light cream color that’s started to peel a bit near the ceiling. We have a small kitchenette area where we make tea several times a day. It’s a quiet enough place to get work done, though you can still hear the distant hum of the main market. Lajpat Nagar III has a certain energy to it that you don't find elsewhere. We’ve been at J 11 for quite a while now. We know the local shopkeepers and the people who walk their dogs in the evening. Our setup is very basic. We don't have any fancy furniture or expensive decorations. It’s just a functional workspace where we handle our business. There’s a small patch of garden out front that we try to keep tidy, but the weeds usually win. It’s a real place for real people. We just do our work and go home.
