Bijander Yadav

It’s just us here at Vaishali Civil Court 39. Most days it’s pretty noisy because of all the people heading to the court buildings nearby. My name is Bijander Yadav and this is where I spend most of my time. The office isn't anything fancy, just a desk and some chairs really. I’ve been at this spot for a while now. You see a lot of people walking past the window every morning. Some are in a hurry and some just look lost. It gets dusty in the summer months and the fan doesn't always do the best job of keeping things cool, but we manage. I usually get in early before the crowd starts building up. The tea stall around the corner is where I get my morning chai. It’s a simple setup we have here. There are a lot of papers usually piled up. Nothing is perfectly organized but I know where everything is. It’s just how things go when you’ve been in one place for so long. Sometimes the neighbors pop in to say hello or ask about something. It’s that kind of area. We don't have a big sign or anything, just the number 39 on the door. It’s easy to miss if you aren't looking for it. That’s pretty much the story of our day-to-day life here. We just keep at it, one day after another, right here in the middle of all the court activity.
