B K Sharma

B K Sharma is based right in the middle of the mess at Ajmeri Gate. We are up on the third floor of Jawahar Market, at 244 4 Phatak Karor. To be honest, the stairs can be a real pain if you aren't used to them, but we do it every day so we don’t think about it much anymore. The market is always loud, and there’s always something going on downstairs with the vendors and the crowds. Our office is tucked away, a bit of a quiet spot compared to the street. We’ve got some old chairs and a lot of filing cabinets that have seen better days. It’s not the most modern looking place, but it works for us. We spend our time going through documents and keeping the accounts in order. Sometimes the power goes out in the market and we just sit there and wait for it to come back on, maybe have some tea from the guy around the corner. We aren’t a big corporation or anything like that. It’s just a small operation here at B K Sharma. Most of our day is just handling the routine stuff that keeps the business going. We’ve been at this same spot for a long time, so we know the other shopkeepers and the way things move around here. It’s busy and a bit dusty, but it is where we do our work. I suppose that is just how things go.
