This branch of our fashion business is located on the third floor of the Lotus B-3 building in Modeltown West, Ghaziabad. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, but it gives us a good view of the street below. Being at 9 D Modeltown means we are right in the middle of a very active part of town. The space is used for a lot of our planning and some of the finer work that needs a bit more quiet than the factory floor. We have racks of samples lined up along the walls and a few big tables for laying out patterns. It’s not a corporate office by any means. There are coffee stains on some of the desks and stacks of fashion magazines from a few years ago in the corner. We spend our days looking at sketches and talking to suppliers on the phone. Ghaziabad is a tough place to get around sometimes because of the traffic, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We don't try to impress anyone with big words or polished presentations. We just show them the clothes and let that be it. It’s a practical workspace for people who know the industry. We keep the windows open when the weather is nice, though the dust from the road can be a bit much. It’s just us doing what we know how to do every day and making sure the orders are ready when they should be.
