Ashwani Verma

Working from DLF City Ridge Wood Estate, specifically at K 116 in Phase IV, is a bit different from the busier parts of the city. Ashwani Verma is the name on the door. It’s a quieter area, which I prefer for getting things done. My days usually involve a lot of reading and writing at my desk. The view from the window isn't much, just the other buildings in the estate, but it’s home. I started this because I wanted to work for myself and handle things my own way. There’s no big staff here, just me and occasionally someone to help with the odd jobs. I spend a lot of time on the computer or making sure the accounts are straight. It’s not always exciting, but it’s consistent. I’ve been in DLF City for a while now, so I’m used to the way things run around here. Most people who come by are from the neighborhood or nearby phases. Sometimes I have to head out for meetings, but mostly I stay put. The office is a bit small, and I tend to keep a lot of books and folders around. It feels like a real workspace, not one of those sterile offices you see in magazines. It’s just a plain room where the work gets done. I try to stay on top of things, though some days the emails come in faster than I can answer them.
