Ashok Gautam

My name is Ashok Gautam and I operate from Patel Nagar 164, right on Meerut Road. It’s a convenient spot for me since I live nearby. I’ve been doing this for several years now and I’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. My office is just a small room facing the main road, so it can get a little dusty with the trucks going by. I don’t have a big staff, usually it’s just me and maybe someone to help with the cleaning and basic tasks. Most of the people who come to see me are from around here or they’ve heard about me from a friend. I don’t believe in those big flashy signs or loud ads. I think if you do your work quietly, people will find you eventually. My desk is always piled high with folders and books, which might look like a mess but I know where everything is. I start early in the morning before the traffic gets too bad and I usually stay until late evening. Sometimes people just drop in for a chat or to ask a quick question. I try to be helpful when I can. It’s a simple life and a simple way of doing things. No one is in a suit here. We just work and try to make sure everything is handled the right way by the end of the day. It is a humble setup but we get through the work.
