Ashish Kumar Advocate

I’m Ashish Kumar, and I work as an advocate out on Hapur Jirothi Road. My office is a simple place where people come when they have legal issues or just need some papers signed. Being on Jirothi Road means I see a lot of people from the local area. The office is usually full of thick law books and files that have been there for years. I don’t try to act like those lawyers you see on TV with the fancy suits and big speeches. I’m more about sitting down and listening to what the problem is. Law can be pretty confusing for most people, so I just try to explain things in plain English. There’s no big mission statement here. I just show up, look at the cases, and go to court when I have to. Some days are slow and I just read through old files, and other days it feels like everyone has a problem at once. I’ve been practicing for a while now, so I’ve seen a bit of everything. The desk is always a mess of papers, but I know where everything is. It’s a local practice for local people. I don’t spend money on ads; people usually find me because a neighbor told them I was okay to talk to. It is just about helping neighbors deal with their legal troubles without all the extra drama.
