A-One Manes Parlor

If you are looking for us, we are at Shop 7 in Building 836, over in Shalimar Garden Extension 2. We are quite close to Shiv Chowk, so it’s a familiar area for anyone living in this part of Ghaziabad. The shop is a basic gents parlor. We have the usual chairs and the big mirrors that every parlor has. It gets a bit noisy around Shiv Chowk, so there is always the sound of horns and people talking outside. We open up the shop and the first thing we do is put out the floor mat and get the spray bottles filled. We don't have a huge staff, just a couple of us working through the day. Many of our customers are people who live in the buildings right around here. They come in for a shave before heading to the office or a haircut on their day off. We talk about cricket or the local news while we work. The shop isn't anything spectacular to look at, but it’s functional and we keep it as tidy as possible. Some days the electricity goes out, and we have to wait a bit, but that’s just how it is here. We focus on doing the job right so people come back next time. It’s a simple life in Shalimar Garden, and we are just happy to have our regular customers stop by for a chat.
