I operate near the Hapur Railway Fatak in Pilkhua. It is a busy spot because of the trains and the gate that closes all the time. My name is Anuj Kumar, and this is where I do my business every day. It’s a practical location, even if the noise of the trains is something you have to get used to after a while. I handle various tasks that people in the area need. Some days I'm dealing with paperwork, other days I'm helping someone solve a problem with their local supplies or just giving directions. I don't have a big corporate office with leather chairs and fancy coffee machines. It’s just a desk, some chairs for visitors, and whatever tools I need for the day's work. People know they can find me here when the crossing is closed and they have a few minutes to spare from their commute. It’s about being accessible to the community in Pilkhua. The area is always moving, with cycles and rickshaws passing by the railway line constantly. I’ve seen the shops around here change over the years, but I stay put right here. My work isn't flashy, but it's what I do to keep things going. I focus on the task at hand. If someone walks in looking for advice or a specific service, I just tell them how it is without any fluff. No fancy talk or promises I can't keep. It's just me working day in and day out near the tracks.
