Our shop is right on Meerut Road, number 26 to be exact. It’s near Movie World, so there’s always a lot of people walking around Sihani Chunggi. Being on such a main road means it never really gets quiet. We’ve been at Anjali Tour & Travel for quite some time now, watching the traffic go by every single day. People stop in while they are out running errands or after they’ve seen a film nearby. Most of what we do is just arranging rides and making sure people get where they need to go without too much trouble. It's a small space, mostly filled with a couple of desks and some old calendars on the wall. The dust from the road comes in sometimes, so we’re always wiping things down. We drink a lot of chai here to stay awake during the long shifts. Sometimes a driver will come in and sit with us for a bit while waiting for his next job. It’s a very local kind of place. We don't have any fancy signs or big advertisements. Most people just know we are here because they pass us every day on their way to work. It’s a simple life, just managing the bookings and keeping track of the keys. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but we’re still here at the same spot.
