Anand Minerals

The place is B-39/6, over in Site IV of the industrial area in Ghaziabad. If you know the district, you know it gets pretty busy with all the trucks and the dust from the factories. Anand Minerals has its spot right there among the other units. It’s not a fancy office by any means. We spend most of our time dealing with the materials and making sure the orders are ready to go out. The mornings are usually the loudest time because everyone is starting their machinery at once. Sometimes the tea stall down the road is the only quiet place to sit for a minute. We’ve been in this part of Ghaziabad for years, so we’ve seen the industrial area grow and change quite a bit. The roads aren't always great, especially when it rains and the mud gets everywhere, but we manage. Most of the staff has been with us for a long time. We just focus on the daily tasks and getting the minerals sorted. There is a lot of heavy lifting involved and the days can be long, especially in the summer heat. We don't really do much in terms of advertising because the work usually speaks for itself through the people we deal with. It’s a straightforward operation. We open up early, get the work done, and try to keep the place organized as best we can. It's a busy life here.
