Amjad Habib Unisex Salon

Our shop is right inside Shopprix Mall in Vaishali Sector 5. We actually take up three units, numbers 109, 110, and 111, so it’s a decent-sized space compared to some of the other stores in the mall. Amjad Habib Unisex Salon is usually humming with activity. Since we are right in the mall, we get a lot of people who were just out doing their grocery shopping or looking for clothes and decided they needed a haircut. It’s a convenient spot, I guess. Ghaziabad can be pretty dusty, so being inside the mall helps keep things a bit cleaner. We have a lot of staff members, and we all have our own ways of doing things. You’ll hear a lot of chatting and laughing while the dryers are going. We don’t really follow a script or anything. We just talk to people like they are our neighbors, which most of them are. The mall has its own rhythm, and we just go along with it. Some days the mall is empty and we just reorganize the shelves, but other days we can barely find a minute to sit down. We have been here in Vaishali for a good while and have seen the mall change over time. It’s a solid place to work. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. It’s just a salon where you can get your hair done and maybe forget about the traffic outside for an hour.
