Amit Kumar Nehra

Down in Krishna Nagar, things are always crowded and moving fast. I am Amit Kumar Nehra, and my shop is Number 18 in A Block, South Anarkali. If you know the South Anarkali area at all, you know how narrow the lanes can be and how packed the markets get during the holidays. My shop is not the biggest one on the block, but it is mine and I am proud of it. I have spent years here, seeing the same faces come and go as the seasons change. It is a busy neighborhood where everyone is trying to sell something or buy something. I keep my place fairly tidy, though with all the foot traffic right outside the door, some dust always finds its way in. I do not spend my time writing fancy advertisements or trying to sound like a big international company. I am just a local business owner who knows his trade. Most of my day is spent talking to people who drop by or dealing with suppliers who struggle to park their vans in these tight, crowded streets. It can be frustrating when the noise gets too loud, but I would not trade it for a quiet office somewhere else. There is a spirit here that keeps me going every morning. I have got my name on the front, and I try to treat everyone who walks in with a bit of real respect.
