Ahmad In Style

Ahmad In Style is located over at Vaishali 48. It is a small shop in a busy neighborhood. We have been here for a bit, and the locals seem to know the way. It’s not a big corporate place with a lot of rules. We just open the shutters in the morning and see who comes by. The shop has a couple of chairs and some mirrors that we try to keep clean, though the dust always finds a way in. We usually have some music playing in the background to keep things lively. Sometimes it’s the radio and sometimes it’s just whatever is on someone’s phone. We do a lot of haircuts and shaves for the guys around here. People come in and talk about the neighborhood or whatever movie just came out. It’s a relaxed kind of place. We don't have a fancy waiting room, just a few stools where you can sit and wait your turn. The lighting is a little bit yellow, but it works fine for what we do. Vaishali is a good spot because there are always people walking past. We know most of the people who live in the nearby buildings. It’s a simple life, just cutting hair and keeping the shop going one day at a time. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We just like our work here and the people we see every day. The shop stays open until late evening.
