Advocate

We operate out of Sahibabad but spend a huge chunk of our lives over at Tis Hazari Court. If you know Delhi and the surrounding areas, you know how busy that place is. It is always a rush. The commute between Sahibabad and the court can be a real pain with the traffic and the crowds on the metro or the buses. We handle a lot of different legal cases. It is just the way things are when you are an advocate in this part of the world. You have to be ready for anything. Our workspace isn't anything to brag about, just a spot where we can keep our files and meet with people who need help with their court cases. It gets very noisy and there are always people shouting or moving around. We don't really have time for fancy decorations. We just focus on the papers and the hearings. Some days we are at the court from early morning until late in the evening. It is tiring work but it is what we do. People come to us when they are in a bit of trouble or need something sorted out legally. We try to keep it simple and just explain what needs to happen next. There is no corporate polish here. It’s just hard work and a lot of time spent waiting around the court corridors for our turn to speak. That is the reality of the legal job in this city.
