Varshney Associate

Our place is at Ashok Nagar 734. It’s just a regular building in a regular street. Most of the time, I’m sitting here at my desk, which is a bit of a mess if I’m being honest. There are old blueprints rolled up in the corner and a few half-empty water bottles scattered around. Ashok Nagar is a decent area, not too loud but not exactly silent either. You can hear the vegetable sellers going by on their cycles in the morning. My office doesn't have any of that fancy modern furniture. It’s mostly just sturdy stuff we’ve had for years. The walls have a few cracks here and there, but they’ve been holding up fine. I usually keep the door open to let a bit of a breeze in, though that also lets in the neighbor’s cat sometimes. It’s a very laid-back environment. I don’t wear a suit and I don’t expect anyone else to either. People around here know where 734 is, so they just drop by when they need something. I might be in the middle of a phone call or eating lunch, but that’s just how it goes. We don’t have a receptionist or a fancy lobby. Just a couple of desks and some filing cabinets that are getting too full. It’s a local spot where we just focus on the work. We stay busy with various tasks throughout the day and don't worry much about the decor.
