The Green Chilli Restaurant

Started this place in Mamura because we saw folks around Sector 66 needed a decent spot to eat. It's just off Gali No.2. We keep things pretty simple here at The Green Chilli Restaurant. It isn't a fancy hotel or anything like that. Just a small kitchen and a few tables. Most days are busy with the office crowd from around Noida coming in for lunch. Sometimes we run out of chairs when it gets crowded. We try to keep the place clean though. It’s hard work, especially in the summers when the kitchen gets really hot. My brother and I manage most of it. We don't have a big team or fancy uniforms. We just cook the food and serve it. People know us by name now since we've been at 491 for a while. Usually, we open early to get the prep done. Chopping onions and chillies takes forever. If you are walking down the lane, you can usually smell the spices. We don't spend money on ads. We just hope the food tastes alright to whoever stops by. Sometimes the delivery guys have a hard time finding the exact gate, but we're right there. It’s a basic setup, nothing more. We use what we have. Most of our regulars are just local workers or people living nearby. It’s just how things go here in Sector 66. We're just trying to run a shop like anyone else. We close up when the food runs out.
