Operating out of Sector 65 has its ups and downs. A 24 is our home base, and it's basically a place filled with samples, fabrics, and a lot of phone calls. The area is pretty industrial, so there’s always trucks moving around and the sound of construction somewhere nearby. Inside, things are usually a bit messy because we’re constantly looking at new trends and trying to figure out what’s going to work next. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of people; it’s just a small group of us trying to make sense of the market. Sometimes we stay late because the work just doesn't seem to end, especially when there are deadlines looming. The lighting in the back isn't the best, but we make do with what we have. We’ve been in this sector long enough to know where to get the best chai and which roads to avoid during the rainy season when it floods a bit. It’s a lot of practical, day-to-day grind here. We don't spend much time on fancy presentations. Instead, we spend our time checking quality and talking to suppliers. It’s honest work, and we take it as it comes. Sometimes the coffee machine breaks, which is a bit of a disaster for us, but someone usually figures out how to fix it. We just keep moving forward, one day at a time, right here in the heart of the sector, just trying to keep everything organized.
