Sandwich King

The morning starts pretty early for us here in Sector 62. Being right near the Stellar IT park means there is always someone walking by, especially when the office shifts change. We set up the shop at C 20/6b and start getting the ingredients ready for the day. Noida can be a very busy place, and this part of town is no different with all the traffic and people in a hurry. Our space isn't huge, but it works for what we do at Sandwich King. We spend a lot of our time just chopping tomatoes, onions, and cucumbers. The bread comes in fresh, and we have to make sure it's stored right so it doesn't get hard in the heat. There’s a bit of a rush during the lunch hour, which keeps us on our toes. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but we just manage with what we have. It’s a lot of standing around and making sure every sandwich is put together properly. We aren't trying to do anything fancy here, just serving the folks who work nearby or live in the area. By the evening, the street lights come on and things slow down just a little bit. We usually end the day by scrubbing the counters and checking what we need for tomorrow. It is a simple routine that we have been following for a long time now. The door sticks a little when it's humid, but we’re used to it. Just a local shop doing its thing.
