Rubric Apparels Pvt Ltd is based over in Sector-60. Our unit is at D-60. It’s an industrial sort of area, so there’s always trucks and noise around. We spend most of our days dealing with clothes and fabrics. The floor is usually covered with scraps or thread, but that's just part of the job. We don’t have a lot of fancy decorations in the office. It’s mostly just desks, sewing machines, and piles of fabric waiting to be worked on. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to wait for the repair guy, which slows things down. But usually, we keep a steady pace. Working in Sector-60 means we’re surrounded by other factories and warehouses. It’s not the quietest place, but it works for what we do. We manage the production and see things through from start to finish. There are about a dozen of us here on a regular day. We drink a lot of tea and try to get the orders out on time. It isn’t always easy, especially when the power goes out or a delivery is late. We just deal with those things as they come up. It's a simple operation at D-60. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a big showroom. We just focus on the garments and making sure the stitches are right. It keeps us occupied from morning until evening.
