Our place is in Sector VIII, at F-125-126. We work on control systems and industrial components. It’s a regular office and workshop space where we spend most of our time. There’s usually a lot of wires and panels lying around because that’s the nature of what we do. It’s not always the neatest place, but we know where everything is. We have a small group of people who handle the technical assembly and the sales. We don’t really go in for big speeches or fancy slogans. We just build the controls and make sure they do what they are supposed to. Some days are slow and we just do maintenance, and other days it’s a mad rush to finish an order. We’ve been in this sector for quite some time now. We know the other businesses around here and we just mind our own. It’s a practical way to spend the day. We don’t have a big marketing department, so we just rely on doing a decent job so people come back. It’s pretty straightforward. We show up, we do the work, and we go home. That’s about all there is to it. The tea guy comes around twice a day and that’s usually when we take a break. Otherwise, it’s just the sound of tools and testing equipment. We like the quiet rhythm of the shop. It stays pretty consistent year round, even when the weather gets a bit rough outside.
