Our office is situated right above the HDFC Bank. It’s a very easy landmark for people to find. You just have to walk up the stairs and you’ll find us there. Being above a bank means there’s always a lot of security and people coming and going downstairs, which keeps the area lively. We deal with properties, so we spend our days talking about flats, houses, and rental agreements. The office isn't massive, but it’s got enough room for our desks and a place for clients to sit. We have a lot of files because real estate always involves so much paperwork. Sometimes you can hear the faint sound of the bank’s air conditioning or people talking on the sidewalk below. We don't go in for anything too polished; our chairs are a bit mismatched and the filing cabinets are definitely not new. It feels like a real workspace. We spend a lot of time out of the office showing people around different locations, but this is where we come back to do all the typing and phone calls. It gets pretty busy around the first of the month with all the rent stuff. We usually have a bottle of water on every desk and a few pens that always seem to go missing. It’s a practical setup for us. We like the convenience of the location and the fact that everyone knows where the bank is, so we never have to give long directions. It saves us time.
