Our studio is on the second floor of L-20 in Sector 11, Noida. It’s a decent space, though the stairs can be a bit of a workout if you’re carrying heavy files. We’ve got a bunch of tables pushed together where we lay out our work. Most days are spent sketching or arguing about where a window should go. It’s not a fancy place, just somewhere we can get our work done without too many distractions. We work on a mix of projects. Sometimes it’s a small house renovation, other times it’s something bigger. We don't use a lot of big words or try to impress people with jargon. We just talk about bricks, mortar, and how much space someone needs for their family. The office gets a lot of light in the mornings, which is nice for drawing by hand. We keep a lot of samples of tiles and wood lying around, so you have to watch your step. It’s a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is. We’ve been in Noida for a while now and like the rhythm of this sector. People stop by, we have some tea, and we look at their ideas. That’s pretty much how a typical day goes for us. We just focus on the drawings and hope the construction goes well.
