Deviant Architects

You can find us at Shop Number 28 in the Ashirwad Complex. This part of Noida, Sector 104, has changed a lot since we first arrived here. It used to be much quieter, but now there are shops everywhere and people moving around at all hours of the day. Our shop is tucked in there among all the other local businesses. It is a small space, but we have everything we need to get our work done. We mostly spend our time hunched over our computer screens or talking to contractors on the phone. The complex gets quite crowded in the evenings, so we usually try to get our big thinking done in the early mornings when it is still a bit calm. There is a tea stall nearby that we visit way too often. Our walls are covered in half-finished ideas and sketches that we taped up months ago and never took down. We do not try to look like those high-end firms you see in central Delhi. We are just local architects trying to make sense of the space we have. Sometimes the air conditioner makes a weird rattling noise, but it keeps the heat away while we are working on a tricky design. People stop by just to ask for directions sometimes, and we do not mind. It is just part of being in a busy complex like Ashirwad.
