Our little office is at G 119 in G Block, Sector 9. It is right here in Noida, a place we have known for many years. Finding the exact spot can be a bit tricky for some because the numbering in Sector 9 is a bit strange, but once you get here, you will see we are just a regular bunch of people working on building plans. We spend a lot of time looking at computer screens and talking about materials. It is not always exciting stuff, but it is important to get the measurements right. We have a couple of drafting tables that are usually covered in sketches and half-eaten biscuits. We do not really do the whole corporate thing. There are no suits here, just comfortable clothes and a lot of work to get through. We handle things like structural layouts and basic design work for people around the neighborhood. Sometimes we are out at a site checking on progress, so the office might be quiet for a few hours. We have seen many buildings go up in this part of Uttar Pradesh. It is a busy place to be an architect. We just keep our heads down and focus on the task in front of us. If the tea is hot and the plans are clear, it is a good day for us in G Block. We like to keep things simple and honest without any unnecessary fuss. It works for us and our clients.
