Our work takes us all around the Sector 53 and 54 area. Malik Realtors Pvt Ltd has been operating out of this neighborhood for quite some time. It’s an interesting part of the city because it’s changing so fast. One day there’s an empty lot, and the next day there’s a new fence up. We spend a lot of time walking around these streets. Our office is a modest place where we keep all our records and meet up to discuss the day’s plans. It’s not a huge space, just enough for the few of us to sit without bumping elbows too much. We usually have the radio on in the background to fill the silence. Sector 53 and 54 have a lot of different pockets, some quiet and some very busy. We know most of the shortcuts to get between the two sectors without hitting the main traffic. The desks we use are old wood, and the chairs squeak a bit when you move. We don’t mind it much. It feels like a real workplace. We have a lot of files stacked up on the shelves. Most of our day involves talking to people about the local area and what’s happening on different blocks. We aren't big on fancy meetings. We’d rather just sit down and talk like normal people. It’s a straightforward way to spend the work week. There is always something to keep us busy here.
