Design 2100 Inc.

Design 2100 Inc. is located at C-131 in the Hosiery Complex, over in Phase-2. This is an industrial area, so it’s not exactly the most scenic part of town, but it’s where the work gets done. We are surrounded by other factories and warehouses, which means there’s always the sound of machines or trucks in the background. Our space is pretty simple. We have our design tables and computers set up where we spend most of our day. It’s not a flashy studio like you might see in a magazine. It’s more of a practical workshop where we figure out how things are going to look and function. The name Design 2100 Inc. might sound like we are from the future, but we are actually just regular people working in a building that’s been here for decades. The commute to Phase-2 can be a bit of a headache during rush hour, so most of us try to get in early before the traffic gets too bad. We usually eat our lunch together at the big table in the back. There isn't much to say about the decor because we don't really have any. We just have our tools and our projects scattered around. It’s a bit messy sometimes, but that’s just how a design office ends up looking when you are busy. We like being in the Hosiery Complex because everything we need for the business is nearby.
