C & R Textiles Pvt. Ltd. is based out in Sector-60, at plot A-19. This is a more industrial part of the area, so it is a bit different from the busy markets in the city. The buildings here are mostly large warehouses and factories, and our place is no different. It’s a big, open space with high ceilings that get quite cold in the winter and very hot during the summer months. We spend our time managing a lot of textile stock, so there are piles of fabric everywhere you look. Large trucks come in and out of the yard all day long, and there is a lot of loading and unloading that needs to be done. We have a small office tucked into one corner where we do the computer work and handle the invoices. The walls are pretty bare, and we mostly just have some old chairs and a table for when we need to eat lunch. It is a lot of physical work, checking the quality of the material and making sure the counts are right before things get shipped out. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that; we just rely on the fact that we’ve been here for a while and people know where to find us. It is a straightforward way to run a textile business, and we just keep at it day after day, trying to stay organized.
