City Cube Architects

You can find us over at C-260 in C Block, Sector 44. It is a nice enough part of Noida and we have been based here for a good amount of time. The office is basically just a room filled with blueprints and some really old stools that we should probably replace one day. We are architects, so our lives revolve around lines and scales. It is a lot of back and forth with clients and sometimes with the local authorities. We do not have a mission statement or anything like that. We just try to make sure that whatever we draw can actually be built without falling down. Sector 44 is relatively calm compared to the rest of the city, which helps when we need to concentrate on a difficult layout. We are a small team, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from answering the phone to fixing the plotter. We usually have some music playing in the background to keep things from getting too dull during the long afternoons. Most of our clients are just regular people looking to add a room or build a small house. We like the practical side of the job. It is satisfying to see a drawing turn into a real wall. We do not use fancy words to explain our work; we just show the plans and talk about how the space will feel. It is a straightforward way of doing things.
