If you head down to Sector 44, Gali No 2, right on the Main Dadri Road, you’ll find Chaudhary Diamond Tools. It’s a busy location because Main Dadri Road is one of those streets that never seems to sleep. There is always a line of cars and the sound of horns honking outside. Inside our shop, it’s a bit more focused. We specialize in diamond tools, which are mostly used for cutting stone and other hard materials. It’s a dusty business. No matter how much we clean, there’s always a fine layer of grit on the counters by the end of the day. The shop itself isn't very large, so we have to be practical about where we put everything. We spend a lot of time talking to contractors and stone workers who need blades that won't dull out after one job. Gali No 2 is a narrow little street, so it can be a bit tricky to find if you aren't looking closely. But once people find us, they usually come back. We keep things pretty informal here. There’s no dress code, just whatever is comfortable for moving heavy boxes of tools around. We like being on the main road because it keeps us connected to what's happening in the area. We open up the shop in the morning, check the inventory, and start helping whoever walks through the door. It’s a steady rhythm that we’ve gotten used to over the years.
