Our location is out in Village Godhi, which is near Mohdi. You have to drive through Mandhar to get to us. It is a bit of a trek from the main part of Raipur, but that is where the work happens. Being in a more rural area means we see a lot of the local village life right alongside the heavy industrial stuff we do. We deal with power and steel projects. It is heavy work and it can get quite loud and dusty around the site. The people working here are mostly local folks or people who moved close by specifically for the job. We do not have some fancy corporate office with glass walls and carpets. It is more about the sheds, the heavy machinery, and the storage yard. Every single morning, there is a lot of activity when the different shifts change over. We spend a lot of our time making sure the operations are running without too many big hitches. Equipment breaks down sometimes, or the monsoon rain slows things down, and we just deal with it as it comes. It is a very straightforward environment. We eat our lunch together and then get right back to the work. There is always something that needs fixing or a pile of material that needs to be moved somewhere else. We have been part of this landscape for a long while now, and we just keep our heads down and work.
