S.K.S. Ispat & Power Ltd.

S.K.S. Ispat & Power Ltd. is located in Phase-II of the Industrial Growth Center over in Siltara, right near the Mahindra shop. It’s a big industrial area, so there’s always dust and the sound of heavy machinery in the air. We’ve been operating here for a while, dealing with the heavy side of things like steel and power. The office is right next to where the main work happens, so it can get quite loud during the shift changes. We have people coming in and out all the time, from truck drivers to the guys working the machines. Our desks are usually covered in technical drawings and production schedules that we try our best to keep organized. It’s not the cleanest place because of all the iron and coal around, but it’s a working industrial site, so that’s expected. We spend a lot of time on our feet, checking on the equipment or talking to the workers. Lunch is usually just something quick we grab because things are always moving fast and you can't leave the floor for long. We don't really have a fancy reception area; people just walk in and ask for whoever they need to see. The heat from the furnaces makes it a tough place to work in the summer months, but everyone here is used to it by now. We just focus on meeting the daily targets and making sure everything keeps running.
