M.J. Stones

M.J. Stones is situated in Naidupalli, which is part of the Kukudakhandi area in Berhampur. It’s a bit of a trek if you aren't from around here, but we like the space we have. Our operation is mostly focused on the physical side of things, so you won't find any air-conditioned showrooms or fancy chairs. We deal with stones all day long, and that means a lot of lifting, loading, and making sure everything is measured out right. The yard is usually quite messy with pieces of rock and some grit, but that’s just the nature of the business. We have a small crew of guys who have been with us for a long time, and we all just pitch in wherever we’re needed. Sometimes the rain slows us down, especially when the ground gets muddy, but we usually find something to do in the shed. We aren't big on talking about "vision" or "growth," we just want to make sure the customers in Berhampur get what they paid for without any hassle. Most of the people who buy from us are local builders or folks doing up their own houses. We keep the paperwork simple and the prices fair, and that seems to be enough to keep the lights on. It’s a straightforward life, and we wouldn't have it any other way. We've been here for years now.
