Working at Sai Tours Travels Pvt. means dealing with a lot of maps and schedules. We are located in the Munshi Colony Development Area, which is a busy spot. Every day someone comes in looking to go somewhere else. Some people want to visit family in another state, while others are trying to plan a small vacation. It’s mostly just us sitting at desks and making phone calls or checking things on the computer. I’ve seen travel change a lot since we opened up here. It used to be all paper tickets and now everything is on a phone. We still keep a lot of physical files though because it feels safer that way. The office in Munshi Colony isn't huge, just enough space for a few chairs for people to sit while we talk through their plans. Sometimes things go wrong with buses or trains and we have to spend the whole afternoon fixing it. That’s just part of the job. I don’t mind it much because it feels good when someone comes back and tells us they had a decent trip. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of offices, just this one place where we know our regulars by name. It’s practical work. We focus on getting people from point A to point B without too much fuss. Being in the Development Area helps because it's easy to reach for anyone living nearby who needs help with their travels.
