Pema Tours And Travels is located up in Upper Sichey. It’s a nice enough area, though the roads can be a bit steep if you aren't used to it. We run our travel business from a small space here. Most of our day is spent on the phone or talking to people who walk in wanting to see different parts of the region. We have a few cars and we know the local routes pretty well. It’s not a high-end luxury agency; we’re just local people who know how to get around. The office has a lot of maps pinned to the walls and a few stacks of brochures that are probably a bit outdated. We don't mind. We prefer talking to people face-to-face to figure out where they want to go. Upper Sichey is a bit away from the main town noise, which is nice. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult for travel, but we do our best to keep things moving. We’ve lived here most of our lives, so we know the shortcuts and the places that are actually worth visiting. We don't have a big fancy website or a marketing team. It’s just us and our vehicles. If you need a ride or a plan for a trip, you just come find us in Upper Sichey. We keep it simple and try to be fair with everyone who walks through the door. It’s a small family-style operation and we like it that way. We often have some local snacks on the table for visitors.
