Our little office for Nh10 Treks N Tours Operator is on Namnang Road. We are in the Observer Building, which is a well-known landmark around here. It’s not a shiny corporate office. We have some posters on the walls and a lot of gear piled up in the corners. Most of us are more comfortable out on the trails than sitting behind a desk, but someone has to stay here to talk to people. We spend a lot of time checking the weather and talking to the guides. The road outside can get quite busy, but inside it’s mostly just us planning the next trip. We’ve all walked these routes many times. We don't have a big sales pitch. We just tell people what the paths are like and what they need to carry. Sometimes the office feels a bit cramped when a group comes in with all their bags. We make some tea, sit down, and go over the maps. It’s a straightforward business. We aren't trying to be the biggest agency; we just like the mountains and want to show them to others. We keep the equipment clean and wait for the next season to start. It’s just a few of us who know the area well, working out of a room in an old building. We try to be honest about the trails and what to expect when you're out there. It’s just a mountain life for us.
