Our office for Shivramkrishna Buildcon LLP is over in Sector-26 of Gandhinagar, right on Plot No. E-42 in the GIDC area. Being in the industrial zone means things are a bit different than being in the middle of a shopping district. It’s a bit more rugged here with trucks and workers moving around the nearby plots all day long. We have a simple setup on the plot where we handle the daily operations. It’s mostly about keeping track of materials and making sure the schedules are being followed. The roads in GIDC are wide, but they can get pretty rough during the monsoon season. We spend a lot of time out in the sun or under the fans in the office when it gets too hot. It’s a no-nonsense kind of place. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting lounge; if someone comes by, they just pull up a chair and we start talking. Most of the people around here are doing similar work, so there's a sense of being in an industrial community. Gandhinagar is a bit quieter than Ahmedabad, which we like, though the GIDC part stays active. We keep our tools and some supplies stored nearby so we can get to them quickly. It's just a steady life of managing builds and making sure the plot stays organized. We’ve been here for a while and the routine of the sector has become very familiar to everyone on the team.
