MLA - Vav, Banaskantha (Shri Shankarbhai Lagdhirbhai Chaudhari)

This is the office for the MLA of Vav, Banaskantha, which is Shri Shankarbhai Lagdhirbhai Chaudhari. You can find us on the first floor of Swarnim Sankul-2 in the New Sachivalay over in Gandhinagar. It’s a government building, so things are a bit formal in the hallways, but inside our office, we try to keep it down to earth. There are always people coming and going, mostly folks from Vav who have traveled a long way to talk about things back home. We spend a lot of time listening. The office isn't about fancy decorations. It’s about having enough chairs for everyone who visits. We have a lot of files and maps of the Banaskantha area pinned up. It gets pretty busy, especially when the session is on. We drink a lot of tea and try to keep things moving. It’s not a corporate job. It’s more about being available and handling whatever comes up. Sometimes the days are long, and we’re still here late into the evening. The building itself is big and can be confusing if you’re new, but we’re just on the first floor. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. We just have a staff that tries to stay organized amidst all the requests and paperwork. It’s a lot of work, but it’s what we do here in Gandhinagar for the people of Vav. We just take it one day at a time and try to help.
