Our place is in Kalol, over in Gujarat. We are located at number 13 in the Vallabh Nagar Society. It is a very convenient spot because we are just east of the railway station, which makes it easy to give directions. If you are looking for us, we are quite near Hetal School, so you can usually hear the kids playing or the bells ringing during their recess time. Being an infrastructure company, our people are often out at different sites, but this office is where all the planning and the paperwork happen. The building is a standard Gujarat style structure, nothing too flashy or modern. We have some heavy wooden desks and a lot of maps and blueprints lying around on the tables. The sun gets really hot here in the afternoons, so we keep the ceiling fans going at full speed to stay comfortable. People in the society know us well, and we have been part of this neighborhood for a long time. Our team is mostly local guys who have been in this line of work for many years. We don't use big corporate words or have long meetings that go nowhere. We just talk about what needs to be built and how we are going to get the materials to the right spot. It is a very practical way to spend the day. When the trains whistle at the station nearby, it reminds us of the time, and we know when it is almost time to head home.
