Hitesh Tubes

We have been operating out of Plot No.2017 in the Matoda G.I.D.C area for a good number of years now. It is a busy place where trucks are constantly coming and going through the main gates. Our yard is usually filled with different sizes of tubes that we have to move around using the old crane we have on site. The dust in the village Matoda area can get quite thick during the summer months, but we just keep the shutters down and get on with the work. Most of the guys here have been with us for a long time, so they know exactly where everything is kept in the racks. We don't have a fancy reception or anything like that, just a couple of desks and a lot of metal piled up. Sometimes the local tea stall owner brings over a round of chai when we are particularly busy unloading a big shipment. It is noisy because of the surrounding factories, but you get used to the sound of machinery after a few days. We spend a lot of time checking the thicknesses and making sure the counts are right before anything leaves the plot. The roads around here can be a bit rough, especially after the monsoon rains, which makes moving the heavier stock a bit of a challenge. We mostly focus on getting the daily orders sorted and keeping the inventory levels where they need to be so we don't run out.
