Kandla Port Trust

We are over here in Gandhidham, right in the Bharatnagar area at Sant Kavarram Society. If you know Mahesh Gopaldas Sheth B 779, that is where we set things up. It is a busy spot in Kutcch because of the port work. Most of us have been living around here for a long time, so we know the roads and the people quite well. The office isn't anything fancy, just a place where we get the paperwork done and talk to the drivers and the crews. Some days the dust from the construction or the trucks gets a bit much, but that is just how it is in a port town. We don't spend much time on fancy decorations or anything like that. We mostly focus on making sure the shipments are moving and the schedules are being followed. It gets pretty hot during the summer months, and the tea stall nearby is where we usually take our breaks. People come and go all day. It is a lot of coordination with the docks and the transport guys. We try to keep things simple and just get the job finished before the sun goes down. Sometimes there are delays with the cargo, which can be a real headache, but we just deal with it one day at a time. The neighborhood around Bharatnagar is always active, so there is never a quiet moment around the office.
