Aashirvad Clearing Agencies is based out of Plot No A 181 in Ward No 6 B, which is part of the Aastha Society in Hemukalani Nagar, Adipur. Kutch is a very different kind of place, especially with all the shipping and port activity around Kandla and Mundra. Our office is right in the middle of a residential society, so it doesn't feel like a big industrial business. We have a lot of papers and folders everywhere because the clearing business involves a mountain of forms. The dust from the dry ground outside always finds its way inside no matter how much we sweep. We have been here in Adipur for several years now. Most of our work involves coordinating with people at the ports and making sure things move. It is a lot of waiting for phone calls and then rushing to get things signed. The neighbors in Aastha Society are used to us by now. We aren't a big agency with hundreds of employees. It is just a small team of us who know the local rules and the people at the customs office. We drink a lot of tea to keep going through the afternoon. The weather in Kutch can be very harsh but we just stay inside and get the work done. It is not a glamorous job but it keeps us busy.
