Our base is at Plot No. 6, Sector 10/ C in the GIDC area of Gandhidham. If you know the Kachchh region, you know it's a major hub for transport. We spend our days dealing with trucks and schedules. The yard can get pretty crowded when the drivers are all back at once. It’s a lot of grease, tires, and diesel. We don’t have a polished front office; it’s more of a place where people can sit down and sort out their trip sheets. We’ve got a small team that handles the dispatching. Most of us have been around trucks our whole lives, so we know how it goes. Sometimes a vehicle breaks down and everything gets pushed back, which is just part of the transport life. The GIDC area is always busy with movement, which suits us just fine. We keep the ledger books on the desk and try to stay organized, even when things get chaotic. It’s not a clean white-collar job. We are usually covered in a bit of road dust by the time we head home. We just focus on keeping the fleet moving and making sure the drivers are okay on their routes. It’s a steady business and we’ve built it up slowly over the years by just showing up and doing the work. The phones don't stop ringing, but that means there is work to do, which we don't complain about.
