We operate out of Ganesh Bhavan, which is on Plot 58 in Sector-8. It's a two-room setup, units 3 and 4, and it's where all the daily planning happens for our trucks. Gandhidham is always moving, and we are just a small part of that rhythm. My father started this business years ago with just one old truck, and now we have a few more on the road. It’s a lot of long hours and late nights. I spend most of my time talking to drivers who are halfway across the country. The office isn't much to look at, just some desks and some old filing cabinets that have seen better days. We handle a lot of different types of cargo, whatever people need hauled. The dust in Kachchh gets everywhere, even inside the office drawers. We usually have the ceiling fan going full blast because it gets so hot in the afternoons. It’s honest work. Sometimes a truck breaks down in the middle of nowhere and I have to go out and help fix it myself. That's just how it goes in this line of work. We aren't a big corporation, just a family business trying to make a living. Most of our clients are people we've known for decades. We share a lot of tea with the neighbors in the building. It’s a loud area with all the transport activity, but we’re used to it. We keep things simple and stay busy.
