You can find Aditya Road Carrier out at Plot No L /4 C, Survey No 231. We are right near the Ankur Weigh Bridge on National Highway 8 A in Jawaharnagar, which most people around here call Chudva. Being in Gandhidham, specifically the Kachchh region, means we are always surrounded by trucks and dust. Our office is basically a small cabin near the highway where we coordinate all the transport. It is a very busy spot because of the highway traffic and the weigh bridge next door. There is always the sound of diesel engines and horns in the background. We handle goods moving from the ports to different parts of the country. It is not a clean job; our shoes are always covered in grit from the road. We do not have fancy brochures or a shiny website. People usually know us by our trucks or by word of mouth at the transport hubs. Most of our work is done on the phone, tracking where the drivers are and making sure the loads are secure. It can be stressful when a truck breaks down or the weather gets bad in the Rann, but we have gotten used to it over the years. We just focus on moving things from point A to point B without too much trouble. It is a tough business, but it keeps us busy. We do not make big promises, we just try to get the trucks moving on time.
